As a bearing company primarily, we have the knowledge, and indeed the experience to know a good bb unit is as good as the bearings it runs on.

That said we also understand that sometimes the  best way to keep the costs down, and to keep the originalty of a bike component, it is a good idea to actually just upgrade the bearings.

Ultimate Ceramic Bearings is an actual bearing assembler, and we have part ownership of a small production facility. We hand asssemble every ceramic bearing we produce from rings to our propritory seals.

So, if you want to keep the original bb cupsets, and upgrade the bearings, we can do this. Just send the complete unit to us, we disassemble the unit, check that the cups are infact worthwhile of this upgrade, clean and install our PROTec ceramic bearings, and supply any new washers where necessary. Price includes one pair of bearings, install, and return postage

Then we post it back to you to reinstall into your bike frame.
